Woerden is centrally located in the middle of the Green Heart of Holland and easy to reach by OV or car.  From the station – Woerden centre is approximately 10 minutes walking, follow the signs for the town centre from the station.

By Car

The cheese market is in Woerden town centre.  Around the centre there are various parking lots and a parking garage “Castellum” which is also a drive in museum.  This garage is clearly signposted.  On a map you can see all parking lots and the parking garage.

Parking times and costs

The cost to park in Woerden is 2 euro per hour in zone A & B – in the following period:
Monday up to and including Thursday from 09.00 until 18.30
Saturday from 09.00 until 24.00
Parking is free on Sunday.

By train to Woerden

From Utrecht it is only 10 minutes to Woerden.  The NS station is approximately 10 minutes walking to the town centre or you can take one of the many buses.  The bus station is located next to the train station.  Look for current times on
